Welcome to RallyAz.com! This is the place to be for information related to rallysports in Arizona. Whether you're looking for information on how to build a car, who to build it or where to test it, RallyAz.com will have everything you need to know. The main purpose of this webpage however is to help people prepare their cars for the annual SCCA Prescott Forest Rally, which is a major stop on the ProRally national tour. Running a ProRally takes effort from everyone so hopefully this website will help you get your car, team and yourself ready. In addition to the ProRally, RallyCross info we be provided because I understand that not everyone has intentions of running the ProRally. RallyCross is a good way for everyone to have fun in their own personal cars in addition to it being a great way to practice car control skills which can be applied to Stage Rallies. The editors of RallyAz.com have way too much free time, so you should benefit from that by having access to testing roads that we have found during that free time. In addition to having specific Terratrip directions, we will also provide standard street car odometer type instructions when time permits. Good testing roads in the Phoenix area are scarce but there are literally hundreds of miles of testing roads between Phoenix and Flagstaff off Interstate 17. If you're an out-of-towner driving through Arizona, don't overlook our testing areas as there's no better way to prepare for PFR than by running similar roads. Although there really aren't any rally preparation shops in the Phoenix/Flagstaff area, you can get creative by using a number of shops for certain tasks that you'd rather leave to the professional builders. Either that, or you can look at our list of shops that were used during the buildup of our ClubRally RX7, as well as shops used by other rally racers in the Phoenix area. In addition to shop contacts, I will try my best to list every rally racer and contact information (if allowed) for all of us that have questions. Believe me, if you're building or are a new driver at PFR, you'll be thankful you know the rally veterans in your area . Rallying is tough enough as it it, it's a lot tougher when you have no idea what's going on! If you have any questions regarding this site, PFR, racing the RX7, going testing etc, feel free to email me at prelude_2@hotmail.com , or call me at 602-618-1293. -brady |
